Privacy Policy

Alchemy Escape Rooms (“Alchemy”, “we”, “us”) runs the escape room at 5601 Powerline Road, Suite 308, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, and this website, alchemyescaperooms.com. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you visit the site or book a game, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you book. Bookings and payments are handled by our booking provider, Resova. When you book, you give Resova details such as your name, email address, phone number, the date and size of your group, and your payment details. We can see your booking details so we can run your game; we do not see or store your full card number. Resova’s own privacy policy explains how it handles your information.

When you contact us. If you call, email or message us (including on Facebook or Instagram), we keep what you send us so we can answer you and help with your booking.

When you visit the site. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools from Google to understand how people use the site and how well our advertising works:

• Google Analytics records things like which pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location (city level). It does not tell us who you are.
• Google Ads tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to book, and may let us show our ads again to people who have visited our site.

Why we use it

• To take and manage your booking and get in touch about it.
• To answer your questions.
• To improve the website and our games.
• To see which advertising works, so we spend less on what doesn’t.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the business: Resova (bookings and payment), Google (website analytics and advertising) and Meta (if you contact us on Facebook or Instagram). We may also share information if the law requires it.

Photos and video

We only use photos or video of guests in our marketing with their permission.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and control the ads Google shows you at adssettings.google.com.
• If we send you marketing emails or texts, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link or instructions in the message.
• You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact information for as long as we need it to run the business and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete it.

Children

Our games are for guests aged 12 and up. This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them online. Bookings are made by adults.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
